Dr. Babatunde Muritala Adeyemo, a native of Oyo State, is a dynamic professional with a rich background. At 45 years old, Babatunde graduated from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) with a degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. Following his graduation and completion of the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) program, Babatunde embarked on his career journey with a determination to succeed.

Born into a humble family, Babatunde faced challenges early on, shaping his strong work ethic and resilience. Despite the obstacles, he remained focused on his goals, earning a reputation as ‘Babs’ during his formative years for his unwavering dedication.

Before his university education, Babatunde attended Eturenren Primary School and Government College, both in Lagos. He later pursued a Diploma at Federal Cooperative College in Ibadan before gaining admission to UNILAG, where he excelled academically.

With a background in journalism, Babatunde started his career as a News Reporter at Murhi International Television (MITV) before transitioning to the Real Estate Market. His diverse experiences in journalism and real estate equipped him with a deep understanding of Nigeria’s economy and society, leading to further studies and the attainment of a doctorate degree.

Currently, Dr. Babatunde Muritala Adeyemo serves as the Chairman/CEO of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, a prominent player in Ogun State’s real estate market. Under his leadership, the company has achieved remarkable success, earning several prestigious awards and accolades for its contributions to the industry.

Driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to self-improvement, Babatunde continues to make a significant impact in the real estate sector. His dedication to ethical business practices and community development reflects his vision for a prosperous Nigerian economy and a brighter future for young talents.

Kunle Ibitoye Profile

Olakunle Ibitoye (PhD) – has spent over 20 years in real estate investing and currently leads the development of the biggest black-owned residential subdivision in the Ottawa National Capital Region. Over the past years, he has overseen the successful development of numerous single-family and multi-family residential projects within and around Ottawa.

An astute academia, he obtained his first-degree in Electrical Engineering from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos Nigeria, master’s degrees from the University of Portsmouth UK and Harvard University, Cambridge MA, United states before obtaining his PhD from Carleton University Ottawa.

Olakunle is a fierce advocate for affordable housing in Canada. He has been a prominent voice in the quest to remove entry barriers for black entrepreneurs in the Canadian real estate industry. To this end, he frequently meets with mayors, municipal staff, and political leaders to influence policies that promote black-owned residential development projects.

Olakunle is regularly sought after as a thought leader in real-estate business decisions. He currently sits on the board of 6 corporations in Nigeria, Canada, and the United States.
